Game Designer (Meta, Balance)

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight 4: Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Shadow Fight 4: Arena is the first mobile fighting game featuring real-time synchronous PvP alongside PvE, including a social system where players can make friends and duel with them.

Our ideal candidate loves mobile games and can orient quite well in progression systems and monetization mechanics. Understands how game cycles and game sessions of modern f2p projects work. They also love mathematics and appreciate well-balanced games. They are interested in calculations and setting up the economics of the game so that it would meet the project's needs.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Come up with a detailed game design of features according to the projects requirements.

• Calculate the balance for new features, and if necessary, adjust the balance of existing features.

• Prepare game design documentation.

• Oversee the production of features from the point of concept to production.

• Collaborate with analytics team: track your work performance based on presented data, and look for opportunities to improve the game and its balance.

• Prepare different variants of the economy's balance for AB testing.

• Keep the economy of the game in a healthy state to solve product needs (for example in one instance create a smooth progression and in the other a sense of deficit).

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Experience working as a meta game designer on at least one game that has reached its release or even better - had commercial success.

• Experience writing game design documentation.

• Appreciation of games including mobile ones and a habit of constantly playing mobile games and enlarging your base of references.

• Confident knowledge of mathematics at a level sufficient to calculate balance.

• Accuracy in calculations and the ability to self-check for possible mistakes.
