Cutscene Designer New IP

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

We are looking for an experienced Cutscene Designer to expand and improve on our cutscenes, cinematics, and story delivery. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and integrate new memorable and stunning cutscenes into the game. 

• Following Cutscene Director’s guidance go through different stages and multiple iterations in the game editor to the final quality stage. 

• Work closely with other departments on implementing the cutscenes to make sure they complement the overall game quality and experience in the best possible way. 

EXAMPLE DUTIES

• Implement your scenes directly in-engine using existing cinematic and cutscenes tools. 

• Create cutscene designs, technical documentation, pipeline updates to improve the cinematic aspect of the game.  

• Participate in testing/analysis efforts to provide feedback on new cutscenes, interactive cinematic gameplay as well as game content in general. 

• Participate in toolkit improvement process while working on the game. 

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Cutscene Director.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Work experience in game companies in the game design or cutscene design department (at least 3 years of experience and at least one shipped AAA title). 

• Sufficient competency in cinematography and a certain level of skill and experience in using video editing software and existing game engines. 

• Good command of Unreal Engine.

• Ability to quickly and sufficiently document and communicate an idea in writing or speech. 

• Ability to translate an idea of cutscene or interactive cinematic gameplay segment from concept into the actual game and then implement it as functional game content. 

• Self-criticism and ability to accept criticism from other people. Being open minded towards colleagues’ ideas. 

• Good English level, knowledge of Ukrainian is a plus.

• Ability to learn and master new tools and software. 

• Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize assignments. 

• Proactive work ethic and good time management skills. 

• Passion for story driven FPS videogames.
