Lead UI/UX Designer

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

We are looking for a talented Lead UX/UI Designer to help us port our AAA console title to PC, Steam Deck, and Nintendo Switch. An experienced and skilled designer who will shape the visual journey of our game by designing static layouts, conceptualizing and creating icons and badges, and designing dynamic screen transitions and UI animations. Working closely with our UX/UI Designers and Art Director, you will help create a visually cohesive, engaging experience for our players, while adhering to our established design language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Game Designers, UI/UX Designers, and Engineers to craft immersive and innovative user experiences for our AAA game.

• Design user flows that seamlessly introduce new features and mechanics into games.

• Develop detailed wireframes and mockups to effectively visualize and communicate complex design concepts.

• Write UX requirements and specifications for Engineering team.

• Design detailed static mockups and envision how they transform into dynamic in-game UI.

• Conceptualize, design, and polish UI elements, icons and badges.

• Prototype engaging and intuitive UI animations and screen transitions.

• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and tools in UI/UX design, integrating them innovatively into your workflows and interfaces to push the boundaries of gaming experiences.

• Providing regular feedback and enhancing the skills of specialists, as well as assisting less experienced designers in their professional growth.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Bring at least 2-3 years of experience as a UX/UI Senior/Lead for PC / console (prefferably);

• Understand the challenges and opportunities of designing for PC / console games.

• Confidently work with Unreal and UI/UX tools like Figma or similar platforms.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

• Create effective systems with requirements and specifications

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
