На какие задачи (обязанности)?

As a 3D Character Artist, your task is to create unique and stunning humanoid lizard characters for our new game project. You will be a part of the art team and will be responsible for creating characters that are not only visually appealing, but also align with the gameplay and storyline.

1. Conceptualization: Work closely with the design team to conceptualize ideas for humanoid lizard characters. This will require a solid understanding of our game’s world and story, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

2. 3D Modeling and Texturing: Use 3D modeling software (such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush etc.) to create detailed 3D models of humanoid lizard characters. Once the models are complete, apply textures to bring these characters to life. You will need a strong eye for detail to ensure that the characters' reptilian features are accurately represented.

3. Rigging and Animation: Collaborate with the animation team to rig your character models for animation. Understanding of humanoid motion will be crucial here to ensure that the characters move in a believable way.

4. Refinement: Be open to feedback and ready to make adjustments to your models. It’s essential that you’re able to iterate on your designs in response to team feedback and playtesting results.

5. Optimization: Optimize your models for performance in the game engine (Unreal Engine 5). This will involve reducing poly count while maintaining the level of detail, as well as ensuring that your models work well within the game’s technical constraints.

Please note that experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus, as is a passion for fantasy and science-fiction art. Prior experience in creating humanoid characters will also be highly valued in this role.
