Game Designer

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in game dev, is looking for an experienced Game Designer for our client, the world’s first company that connects esports and gaming with FMCG retail. 

We are seeking a veteran Game Designer for crafting exceptional player experiences in PvP-focused action games. As a critical member of their team, you will help shape the future of upcoming titles and ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging gameplay.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Convert high-level instructions into detailed game feature documentation.

• Prototype, playtest, and refine gameplay.

• Design and create UI wireframes and flows while overseeing the UI/UX processes.

• Pinpoint and address issues related to gameplay, balance, incentivization, and UI, offering informed solutions.

• Understand target audience and what motivates them

• Proactively recognize design shortcomings or imbalances in game, proposing solutions

• Understand the commercial and production goals of the project and design within their parameters

• Maintain robust and frequent communications with founders, peers and the project team

• Create a product mind map in Miro

• Create mockups / user stories

• Describe product functionality/modules according to Mind map

• Create documents for vfx/animation/sound departments

• Create a common in-game economy / economy by features

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer (preferably PvP action games)

• Experience in development of large multiplayer games projects, preferably competitive ones

• Hands-on experience with Unity, preferably in level design.

• Strong knowledge and experience with Live Operations.

• Proven experience in designing for games like shooters, MOBAs, brawlers, etc

• Strong capability in creating detailed and concise game design documents

• Able to create wireframes and directing UI/UX processes

• Keen understanding of player motivations

• Proven design track record on released mobile projects. At least one shipped AAA game

• Work experience with analytics and data for KPIs improvement

• Experience with product mind map in Miro

• Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus

• Experience in creating the balance of the economy

• Fluent English
