Game Balance Designer

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in game dev, is looking for a strong Game Balance Designer for our client, the world’s first company that connects esports and gaming with FMCG retail.

We’re looking for a specialist, enthusiastic about delivering finely tuned PvP action experiences. You will play a key role in balancing the heroes and weapons in the upcoming real-time PvP action game.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Manage the delicate task of balancing and fine-tuning a diverse roster of over 30 heroes and weapons in the real-time PvP action game.

• Continuously monitor development stages to evaluate and ensure optimal game balance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collect, request, and analyze data during Live Operations, proposing necessary changes to enhance the gaming experience.

• Provide informed proposals for alterations in hero, weapon, and level design, contributing to the game's development and product longevity.

• Understand the target audience and their motivations to tailor the game experience effectively.

• Proactively identify design shortcomings or imbalances, offering well-thought-out solutions.

• Maintain robust and frequent communication with founders, peers, and the project team to ensure alignment and progress.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Over 3 years of experience as a Game Designer for mobile games, with a preference for the action/brawler genres.

• Proven track record in designing balances for real-time PvP action games.

• Proficiency in Excel balancing tasks.

• Familiarity with automated balance testing and adeptness in extracting and organizing data from auto-generated battles.

• Demonstrated design expertise on released mobile projects.

• Experience with product mind mapping in Miro.

Would be a plus:

• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
