We are creating a multiplayer third-person shooter for PC and consoles in a sci-fi setting, with a focus on esports. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. We aim to create a AAA-level product capable of bringing innovation to the gaming industry.

Animation stylization closer to the Japanese style.
Animation style references: LoL, Arcane, Spiderverse. Important: we work with stylized keyframe animation (not mocap).

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?
  • Experience with Maya and Unreal Engine.

  • Experience with stylized keyframe animation.

  • Basic understanding of 3D packages to communicate with character modelers.

  • Basic understanding of animation workflow in UE5 and/or willingness to quickly learn the basics of its functionality.

  • Experience in game development and understanding of how animation works in games (game timings, animation blends), understanding of game animation pipelines.

  • High familiarity with games and cartoons.

  • We are looking for an animator, not an engineer: a primary understanding of the creative part of animation—knowing how to make things beautiful and expressive.

  • Readiness for an iterative development approach.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?
  • Rigging characters (Maya only, ARTv1): basic knowledge of nodes (being able to attach blend shapes to bone movement) is desirable.

  • Character animation (Maya only): various movements, gameplay abilities, basic facial animation. The characters in the game have custom animations that reflect their personality and story.

  • Communication with the lead animator and 3D modelers for characters to create memorable visuals.

  • Working with Japanese stylization, preferably with knowledge of Pose to Pose blocking.

Working schedule: Remote work from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:00.
