VFX Artist

Flying Wild Hog is a game development studio composed of a veteran team with proven track records in developing and delivering top games. The studio is based in Poland with headquarter in Warsaw and office in Cracow.

We’ve been creating games for 10 years and we can say with confidence we’re good at it. We are experienced artists, programmers and other professionals of various crafts who take great pride in our handiwork.

Flying Wild Hog Cracow is currently working on an independent project which is a multiplayer action RPG set in a sci-fi universe.

The VFX Artist will design, create and implement in-game special effects (like explosions, fire, smoke etc.) and other environmental effects, special abilities, weapon attacks, etc. powered by Unreal 4. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the creation of remarkable in-game visual effects and should exhibit creativity, technical and artistic skills.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Creating real time visual effects (e.g. environmental effects, flames, dust, sprays of water, magic effects) both for gameplay and cinematics

• Creating various vfx assets: textures, materials, meshes, fluid simulations

• Executing the process from prototype to final assets

• Close cooperation with Game Designers, 3D Artists and Programmers

• Effects optimization

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• At least 2 years of experience with visual effects for games

• Experience with creating VFX in Unreal Engine is a must

• Experience with Photoshop / 3D (Maya, Max, Blender etc.)

• Iterative approach

• Ability to create natural/believable effects

• Experience in using version control system

• Portfolio

• Working experience in the gaming industry

• Experience with 3rd party software Fume FX, Houdini, RealFlow etc. will be a plus

• Shipped-title experience will be a plus
